Mark Seibert

Mark Seibert studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York and at the Vienna Conservatory.

Even before completing his studies, he appeared on stage in several roles including as Willard in “Footloose”, as Claude in “Hair”, as Pygar in the world premiere of “Barbarella” and as Tybalt in the German-language premiere of “Romeo & Julia” at Vienna‘s Raimund Theater.

In 2006, his professional career took him to Germany where he starred in the role of Radames in the musical “Aida” and as the first German-speaking Fiyero in “Wicked – Die Hexen von Oz”. He went on to play the Ranger in the world premiere of the musical “Der Schuh des Manitu” and went on tour across Germany as a soloist with the Stage Entertainment production of “Best of Musical Gala”. He also appeared in subsequent roles in the Queen musical “We Will Rock You” in Berlin und Stuttgart.

Starring in the role of “Der Tod” in the hit musical “Elisabeth”, Mark Seibert took to the stage in Germany, Vienna and Shanghai. In parallel, he also appeared in the lead role of “Jesus Christ Superstar” in Bonn before going on to play Lancelot in the world premiere of “Artus – Excalibur” at Theater St. Gallen, Switzerland, in 2014.

He then returned to the stage in Vienna, taking the role of Prince Archbishop Colloredo in Berlin in the new production of “Mozart!”. In 2016, he debuted in the role of Count Krolock in “Dance of the Vampires” and later also appeared in the role in Stuttgart. In 2016/2017, Mark took the leading role in the world premiere of Stephen Schwartz’ “Schikaneder” in Vienna and in

2017/18 starred again as Count Krolock in “Dance of the Vampires” on stage in the Austrian capital.
